AZOP Blythe Grand Prix

An exhilarating race day for the Xtreme Machine & Fabrication racers at the AZOP Blythe Grand Prix at Shorty’s Sports Park
Ryder Vanbeekum started off the Saturday race strong & ran hard with a smooth finish in 2nd Place. WooHoo! Following behind him was Parker Christian holding the 3rd Place spot. Jennifer Owens ran a consistently and steady race ending in 8th Place. Ryder Chapman was close behind running strong but ran into some issues with his brakes then later got hit resulting in a chain coming off. Ryder still finished in the top 10 behind Jennifer in 9th Place. Bailee Christian was on the gas the whole race, until she ended up flipping on the final lap putting her in 12th Place. Running a great race until a transmission issue held him back, Ian Kowalski ended the race in 13th Place. Jessie Owens broke a hiem a few minutes into the race leaving her out for the rest of the day. With her was Carson Greco who ended up shearing off the sprocket bolts which took him out of race.
Robert Vanbeekum #1964 was running hard in his brand new Polaris RZR but ended up with some overheating issues putting him in 2nd Place for his class (UTV Pro) and 20th Place overall. Mia Chapman and co-pilot Jessie Owens ran a great race driving in Denise Jeans’ non turbo and finished in 6th Place for her class (Non Turbo) and 9th Place overall.
Ryder Chapman hammered down the Sunday races and didn’t look back with a win in 1st Place. Woo Hoo! Parker Christian was following close behind him finishing in 2nd Place. Ian Kowalski ran a great and consistent race with a 5th Place finish. Bailee Christian didn’t hold back again and finished in 6th Place. Jennifer Owens ran into a hay bail during the race, but that didn’t stop her and managed to hold her 8th Place position. Jessie Owens was running strong but managed to roll onto her side. She got back out and finished the race with 9th Place. Carson Greco was doing great but ended up rolling over on his side as well into some soft sand but he got back going and ended in 13th Place. Sunday was much harder for Ryder Vanbeekum, as he had some mechanical issues with the battery and was unable to finish the race.
Robert Vanbeekum was leading the race ending in 3rd Place in his class and 6th Place overall. Mia Chapman and co-pilot Jessie Owens were running great, ending up with a few difficulties such as loosing a belt but finished the race in 9th Place in her class and 20th overall.
