Jimmy Owens
About the Owner

Jimmy is married with 2 beautiful children. He was born in Illinois, but moved to Arizona at age 3 and grew up around racing.  Whether it was motorcycles, go karts or sprint cars, Jimmy was in his element.  He moved on to working at his parent’s mechanical shop.  So, you could say racing and working on vehicles was ingrained in him right from the start!

At age 24, Jimmy decided to get out from behind the wheel and become more involved in the mechanical aspects of the racing industry. He traveled for many years working on various race series:

  • Trans-Am
  • Indy Car
  • Nascar
  • Craftsman Trucks
JIMMY RETURNS TO ARIZONA
A NEW FOCUS

Jimmy’s travels brought him back to Arizona where he continued to foster his passion for the racing industry by building vintage race cars and road race transmissions. Not one to remain stagnant long, Jimmy went into manufacturing in the Quad industry as well as manufacturing truck beds for freight liners.

He then narrowed his focus down to the custom motorcycle business, where he worked for several years as a lead fabricator and production manager on the leading custom motorcycle shops.  Jimmy was always firing on all cylinders and while working on custom bikes, he saw and issue with the distribution of hydraulic tubing benders. That gave him the insight to leave the motorcycle industry to design and build a hydraulic tubing bender in his garage at home.

THE START OF XTREMEMF
THE BUSINESS BEGINS

That custom bender started Jimmy’s manufacturing business making hydraulic tubing benders for dealers and the small job shops/hobbyists, along-side custom fabrication.  He also saw an opportunity to get into the UTV and sand car industry by manufacturing and fabricating custom parts for various vehicles. Jimmy finds himself right at home, splitting his time between running his business and in the pit with various racing endeavors.
